Two Little Men

The weekend after Thanksgiving, "we" put together a playfort in the backyard for the boys. My parents came in, and family friends Tim and Jane Greer also came to give us a hand and bring some special tools. Todd and I started sorting the wood as soon as we got home from T'Giving Dinner...all told, it took three solid days, but it is totally worth it!!!

When I went to Leo's school today to help with lunch duty, he had told all his friends and his teacher about our new addition. He went straight out there to swing when he got home. I'm so happy we have something back there now that will help us enjoy our great yard!

Last weekend, we stayed in a cabin in Mount Nebo State Park in AR. We had a great time with two little asterisks. *1* - it was ccccccold with a stiff wind. *2* Henry decided to start cutting his 2 year molars, so he was NOT a happy camper! We had to miss some hiking and sightseeing b/c of those. Other than that, it was great.

Here is Todd after 8 hours of driving, getting groceries, getting unpacked, and getting the kids to bed. He was asleep by 7:30pm.

Henry would only wear his gloves on his feet. He has a fascination with shoes, his feet, etc.

The Famous Shrek Crocs! We must have these at all times, wear them to bed, wear them when we are upset, etc. They are Henry's lovey.

Mom thought this would be a gorgeous shot, but you know how it goes. Lots of the park is stonework built by the Civilian Conservation Corps.
