Henry has his Shrek crocs!

Henry loooooooves all crocs and has a small collection. He even goes up to other children at the park and asks them if he can try on their crocs.

Colored Pasta

Last weekend, Leo and I dyed pasta for his class. This was a request from his teacher - they're going to make necklaces with the pasta for T'Giving. We soaked the pasta overnight in ziploc bags filled with rubbing alcohol and food coloring. When I drained them the next morning, they were mushy...but they dried and were firm again.

Fun at the Indoor Playplace

Last week, Todd had a Happy Hour/Going Away party to go to for work, so I decided to take the boys to an indoor climbing place for dinner. The food was yucky and we will go to Jason's Deli first next time, but they had a BLAST playing. They stamp all our hands with matching numbers when we go in and the doors are all locked, so I can relax a little and let them play. There was hardly anyone there on a Wednesday night - perfect! It is a large room filled with these structures to climb and different areas have different features like slides, balance beams, bouncy things, etc.

Leo's writing

Leo has really taken off with his writing since starting Kindergarten. I find little scraps of his writing all over the house.

I put up a Post-It for Todd with some notes he needed...and I came back to find this. If my writing was up there, he figured he would make one, too. Why Peanut Butter? Well, why not?

Halloween: "Red Jungle Fury Power Ranger" and "Two Year Old"

Sorry, this one is blurry. Best I've got.

We had a good Halloween, even though it was waaaaaay to warm for this holiday!

Leo was a Power Ranger, and Henry refused to wear a costume. He had Clifford or Elmo to choose from, but he refused both.

We started at a neighborhood block party with hot dogs, chips, and desserts. It's so nice to get to meet neighbors! Then we did some trick-or-treating. The boys loved it. Henry would even say "Trick or Treat" and "Thank You." Everyone thought he was too cute. Leo wanted to run from one house to the next, and Henry wanted to wander through each yard and ooooh and aaaaah at the decorations and DEFINITELY touch any jack-o-lantern or blow up decoration! So it was a challenge to keep up with both of them since Todd stayed home to do candy duty. A neighbor was with me, so that really helped.
