"Little Houses" at the Arboretum

Last week, we had a great outing at the Dallas Arboretum with Miss Allie and "baby" Luke. The boys enjoyed playing in the little houses. In some of these, you can see White Rock Lake in the background. I have run many miles around that lake!

Oh, and about Henry's clothes....He needed a few transitional things to get through these few 60 degree days that we have before Dallas becomes an oven...so I tried to go cheap and get some pants and short sleeve shirts at WalMart. When I got these out for the first time, Henry said..."Oooh, pajamies!" And he was right...Miss Allie and I agreed that they did look a little ridiculous. Soooo...these are now in the pajama drawer!

Playing in the Bubbles

On Monday, I put a bowl of dishsoap bubbles outside for Henry to play in while I crocheted. It was a nice warm day. I know, I know...I have a leisurely life sometimes. But I pay the piper everyday from 3:30 - 6, I promise!!!

A Giraffe for Henry B

Henry always loves the giraffes at the zoo...and also the huge Giraffe statue at the entrance to the Dallas Zoo. So, when I saw this little pattern last week, I decided to give it a try. 'Twas pretty easy. Took me about 3 days, I think.
