Rainy Day

One day, Henry and I needed to walk over and pick Leo up from school. It was pouring rain, and we needed to take him his raincoat...b/c we didn't know it would be raining when he went to school that morning. Here is our get-up!

Spring Break - Birthday Party with CREATURES!

On Sunday of Spring Break, Leo was invited to a Birthday Party. The Creature Teacher was there, and she showed the kids all kinds of interesting animals. What an awesome party!

(Erin, if you are reading...there is a snake in this post.)

A chinchilla...the second softest animal in the world. What is the softest, you might ask? A sea otter. She didn't have a sea otter.

No fangs, no venom. I remember that part.

Spring Break - The Garden Party

On Saturday afternoon, we trekked out to Lucas to The Post's for a Garden Party. A Garden-Building Party, that is. The men made raised beds for us to take home, and we cooked sausages and ate and visited and just had a grand old time.

The Mamas and The Papas.

We've been experimenting with Cars shoes. They aren't as good as the Shrek Shoes, but they have potential.

There were lots of snack breaks. I'm sure Miss Allie was straightening someone out here.

Suddenly, there was some sort of game at the neighbors'. Kickball...I don't remember? They loved playing.

It was such a nice evening. We had a lovely time visiting...the kids were so entertained and there was no whining. Now we just have to get dirt in our box and get it going!
