Miss Carla had made yummy goat cheese and grilled veggie sandwiches! So good. She also made a wonderful fruit iced tea using decaf iced tea bags and blueberry flavored celestial seasonings herbal tea. That tea is a new staple at our house!

Neighborhood Chili Cookoff

Our neighborhood recently had a chili cookoff one Sunday afternoon. Just for fun and to be different, I did a "meatless" chili. I knew I wouldn't win, but that was ok. It's fun to have a neighborhood that does things like this.

This was a little science show they had going on for kids. It was the hokiest thing EVER. Gran, if you remember that Bibleman video...this was at least as bad as that. Of course Leo liked it so we had to watch for awhile - it was painful. They had a whole song about the word "Eureka."
