Halloween! Finally!

It was finally Halloween! I felt like we'd been building up FOREVER!

Henry decided to wear a costume this year - so we got out the Elmo costume from last year that he would not wear. He loved it - he even spotted an Elmo candy bucket at Wal Mart that was a must-have. Leo was GI Joe Snake Eyes, whatever that is.

Leo's teacher invited him to stop by and get a special treat - what a nice gesture. He loved it.

Halloween Party

Since Halloween was on a Saturday this year...we had a lot of blank time to fill until Trick or Treat time. We decided to have a little party at our house that morning for the other 1st graders on our street. The kids had fun. Todd and I were exhausted, but that's not the important part.

We hung some streamers and I put out my Halloween Cross Stitch just for the occasion. These are the only Halloween decorations I can find...not sure what happened to my H'ween stuff in the move??? And, yes, I made this cross-stitch before we had kids! Before we were even married!

Little Tiger

Wednesday was "Jersey Day" at Leo's school. Somehow this ties in with "Red Ribbon Week" (aka Say No to Drugs Week). Maybe they were a "Team" against drugs...I don't know. They come up with lots of dress-up days that really stretch the theme.

Oh...and, needless to say...Leo came home the first day saying...Mommy, what are drugs?

Anyway, here is Leo in his LSU Tiger Jersey from Brooksie and Papa. Henry has one, too, but he refused to put it on until bedtime, of course.

Happy Birthday, Henry!

Henry B is 3 years old! He had a little party at school with cupcakes and juice...and then we had cupcakes and opened presents at our house that night. It was a great day!

Henry had lots and lots of presents to open from family and friends...Leo even had a few, too. It was like Christmas morning.

We got him a "glide bike." This is a bike with no pedals for young children. They use their feet to push...run with the bike...ride on it while it glides...
