This lesson was called A Need for Seeds. Ms. Judy (naturalist) started out by telling us how animals carry seeds along when they catch them in their fur. Then all the kids got to put on a sock inside out and brush it along as we walked down the nature trail. She could tell the kids what all the different kinds of seeds were that they picked up on their "fur."

Henry discovered that he had also collected seeds on his clothes and was very impressed that he saw them first.
