Moving on from Noggin

Recently, Leo has been watching a little bit of The History Channel. Mostly this is b/c it's often on that channel in the mornings when he turns it on b/c Todd likes to watch it at night.

So, today...in the car..

Leo: Mommy, look I see an airplane waaaaaay over there.
Me: Yes, I see it!
Leo: Or is that a rock from a catapult?
Me: No, we don't use catapults anymore.
Leo: Oh, yeah, they used to use those in the dark.

(As in...The Dark Ages)

Leo does his ab work

I have had problems with my back recently, so I have been doing ab work and pilates to increase my core strength. It really is true that kids pick up this kind of stuff. Several times last week while I did my pilates tape, Leo did some ab work from a computer site he likes.

Henry's Eye

You might have noticed in one of my posts that Henry has a black-eye! I am actually behind on posting, and it is all healed up now. He fell into a stool in the bathroom. He really made impact on the outside edge of his cheekbone, but the bruising showed up under his eye.

This look is always great for getting stares when you go to Wal-Mart. At least it healed up before he did a header down the wooden stares at a party this weekend. Now we have a forehead bruise.
