Genius...or rerun king?

Yesterday I was sweeping and mopping the kitchen, and Leo was fooling around in the living room. I had a Law and Order rerun on the TV. One of the lawyers used the word "absurd."

Leo: What does "absurd" mean.
Me: Crazy.
Leo: No, mommy, it's more like silly or ridiculous.
Me: OK. Where did you learn that?
Leo: Brooksie told me.

And then it dawned on me. He has probably already watched this Law and Order episode with ReRun Addict #1, and now he's watching it again with ReRun Addict #2!

More of Henry walking

I just love how Henry walks right now. He is still wobbly, and it is just so cute. He goes in spurts - walking as fast as he can and then having to slow down to catch his balance.

Crazy Weather Week!

We've had weird weather! I guess March came in like a lion.

We had snow on Tuesday, and then a light dusting again yesterday. Lots of sleet and rain, too, yesterday. Todd came home early from work because they thought it might be really bad. But everything seems fine this morning - YAY! I wanted everyone to go to work and school today! :)

Leo had to get out in it immediately on Tuesday morning. Of course, I have packed up his gloves and hat in all the "house staging," so we just had to improvise with mommy's gloves. He wanted to have a snowball fight, and then was mad at me when one hit him on the neck. I didn't really aim for there, but he had no more use for me after that! But he had a good time. I also had a crazy real estate agent come preview the house out of the blue that morning at 9am. What a week!

A Windy Day at the Park

Since we needed to get out of the house on Sunday about noon, I thought it would be a great idea to get lunch and go to the park. The wind was gusting up to 30mph, so needless to say, it wasn't tons of fun. Henry's lunch blew across the table and splattered all over me, and Mama was pretty much DONE after that. But, anyway, I got a few cute pictures.

Here is the Henry in the best $20 we ever spent...the IKEA highchair!

Henry LOVES to swing! We are really enjoying this - Leo never would sit in a swing until he was 3 years old.

But he loves them now.

Walking and Talking

I got this little video of Henry yesterday. It was in the 60s yesterday, so we met some friends at the park. His cheeks are a little pink from the wind, and I think you can see the remnants of our eye adventure under his left eye.
