Christmas Eve

I know I am way behind for December - I'll post all our pictures soon. But here are some Christmas Eve pictures.

We have sushi every Christmas Eve. Leo looks forward to this all of December and talks about it a lot. I made the sushi myself!

Putting out food for the reindeer. In the rain. It was oatmeal, glitter, and cheerios. They both made a bag at their different schools - very convenient.

Sweet Henry B

He fell asleep in Todd's lap the other day. We know these days are numbered.

In the nicest of neighborhoods....

We find a lot of broken beer bottles in the back corner of our backyard. It seems that since we are on the corner of the alley, SOMEONE throws beer over as they are heading home??? Usually it is just an empty bottle every once in awhile.

But the other day, I went out to find these in the side yard....not inside the fence. Todd said this has to be teenagers....only teenagers buy bottles like this. Yuck.

Fort Worth Zoo

Henry and I went to the zoo recently on one of the days that he doesn't have preschool. It was a pretty day, and we had such a nice time. He really wanted to try the binoculars that they have at the zoo that require quarters. I knew they weren't going to be as great as he thought, but he was just dying to try them. So we gathered up a bunch of quarters to take with us, which turned out to be useful for other things.

He loves all these phones and manipulatives in the new reptile house.

I tried to get him to put a quarter in this so we could hear it croak, but he wasn't too sure about this frog.

Probably one of my favorite Henry videos EVER.
