San Francisco, Part I

Betsy is one of my oldest friends, and we recently reconnected online. When we were in high school, we made several trips to San Francisco to visit her grandparents, dad, and other relatives. We also went to Hawaii and Disney World. She is now a speech pathologist and lives in beautiful San Francisco full time.

I decided to invite myself out for a visit this summer, and we had a WONDERFUL visit. I just love visiting with her b/c she's very real and always has an interesting view and challenging insights. And she's just fun to hang out with. The trip out was quite a nightmare, though. On my first try, I got stranded in Austin due to storms and just decided to come home and try again the next day. Even though I was a day late, we didn't let it dampen our fun!

Having a little Sofia Rose upon arrival.

Betsy had these really neat-o jewelry holders that she had made herself. I took pictures b/c I want to make some!

I loved all the unique signs and how few chain/big box stores there were.

I don't know how I missed this when you posted! I guess I was at camp or something. I had such a good time too. Just looking at the pictures makes me want to do it again. Maybe in early spring I can come to visit you and your amazing boys.
