Henry B's Six Month Portraits

Here is our little Henry B at 6 months. Plus a bonus picture of Leo at 6 months in mommy's favorite outfit. Leo's is a picture of a picture, so the quality isn't great.

Our first year of preschool has come to an end!

Leo's first year of preschool at PESH finished out with a little picnic at a park near our house. They sang some little songs for the parents. It was a good year, and I have him signed up for lots of activities to keep him busy this summer.

Painted Toenails!

Leo has a little friend who has her toenails painted, so he wanted to do it, too. He chose brown like Mommy has on right now. Todd said his feet look almost as big as mine in the picture!

Sweet and Innocent Heart

Leo: Are you going to stay here and take care of Henry while I'm at Brooksie and Papa's next week?
Me: No, Henry is going to go to Louisiana with you.
Leo. Oh. (pause...thinking) You and Daddy are going to stay here and take care of each other?
Me: Yes, we'll take care of each other while you're gone.

I just love his little spirit sometimes.

In Leo news...

We had a big day today.

#1. I think this one shows how God has a sense of humor. Leo won't wear half the shirts in his closet b/c they are "silly." He pitches a big fit about what seems like random shirts that do not meet his approval. He needs some shorts and shirts for summer, so I took him with me to get his opinion for the first time ever. Well, it turns out that silly shirt actually means "doesn't have a picture, character, cartoon, etc. on it." So the mom who likes classic, simple clothing will have a son in screen printed t-shirts with disney characters, monster trucks, and dinosaurs on them for the summer. That's ok - I have a new baby doll to play with who doesn't have an opinion yet.

#2. We saw the eye doctor today, and both his eyes are now of equal strength. So, no more glasses! It's kind of bittersweet. I'm glad not to have to keep up with them, but he sure was cute in them.
